The Colaba Diaries: Ep 8 - Nothing to tell really

It's been well over a month since the last entry in this series and to be quite honest folks it's because I haven't got anything to tell you about. Since then, I have come to familiarize and make friends with some great individuals at work who aren't part of my team. But I haven't had much chance to have any adventures with these friends to tell you about.

I've also not been on any outdoorsy work assignments, just been plugged into my desk at office. It's not even my desk really, it's the desk of my senior but he's usually out working. I've only been out to watch movies on the weekends and once or twice to meet Zoo. Earlier this week, I met JV for dinner and we ended up discovering this great place called the British Brewing Company, this was the one in Andheri, Mumbai. It's a brilliant place with great ambience, the food is good and it's not painfully expensive either. On this particular night, they had a theme of mango based drinks, and I ended up having a mango martini, a mango mojito and a mango margarita, and all of them were rather tasty. We also got joined by my friend Zoo near the end of the night and it was quite fun to have those two with me together in this city that I struggle to find any comfort in.

Today was a first in the Colaba experience, I finally made good on my promise to go cycling with an office colleague of mine. We rented the cycles from this well-know cycle shop right downstairs from my PG room. The route was planned by my colleague and his friend, and we rode around Cuff Parade, Nariman Point, Kala Ghoda and back to Colaba. We were lucky with the morning weather which was warm but not hot till later in the day and we could enjoy the ride. It was fun, though it really made me miss my riding mates from the Bengaluru and the 'Sane Bike Loony Rider' adventures and my lovely blue BTWIN bike

I did have a good day as a car guy though, having spotted a bright yellow Mercedes AMG GT, a BMW M4, a BMW 650i, and a Bentley Mulsanne too.

We're approaching the last phase of my time at this location, which means this series is to end soon, and there will only be two more entries in it.

This is it, the final instalment of the Fast & Furious franchise that started all the way back in 2001. To be precise, it's the first part of the tenth and final instalment in the series. Red Notice: Movie Review

 It's quite common for movies to be made with no plot, a cast of popular actors with loyal fanbases and a big CGI budget. Red Notice is one of those movies. Netflix has been churning out an increasing number of platform-exclusive movies, but it's now harder to find good ones. When they dropped the first trailer for this action-flick starring Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson, I knew I was going to watch it as a fan of the Canadian funnyman. They also showed Gal Gadot as a key character to onboard a slew of horny teens as well. The movie plot is a treasure hunt for an Egyptian artefact, a bejewelled golden egg and part of a set of three, known as Cleopatra's eggs. It explains off the bat that the term Red Notice is the highest wanted level in Interpol, which is a sort of global police agency. How A Brand Image Can Be Ruined By Its Own People

In a highly competitive business environment, the only sustainable option is to build a brand that attracts certain types of buyers with quality products catering to their interests. Or to put it simply, brand image is key for long-term success. Unfortunately, too many brands make simple mistakes that can undo years of marketing exercises and not even realise it. The one I want to talk about here is how brand image is ruined/tarnished by its employees and affiliates.  I recently attended the Indian MotoGP and due to event circumstances, my tickets were adjusted to a different stand at the Buddh International Circuit.
