You know you had a good three days when you write about it
on a blog. A long weekend in a busy month, with emotional and professional
pressures, is exactly what you need to unwind.

The month of February, famous for Valentine’s Day and the
entire week of love, along with other important and popular days, is a tough
one even though it has the least number of days. Working people have the added
tension of tax month coming up, and I have my mid terms too this month. It’s
amazing how some of the best, most fun events are organized around this time.
Luckily, this year I got time to attend some of my favourite ones.

On the 7th, it was the first day of India’s 4th Annual Comic
Con being organized in Delhi, it would be my first, and there is no way I was
going to miss it. So I took advantage of my decent attendance in college, and
took the day off to go see it from the start. Initially I was hoping to have
company, but as it always happens, I went by myself, so I could stick to my
schedule rather than get delayed by anyone else. As I reached the venue at a
safe time of 30 minutes after the it was scheduled to start, the gates were
still closed and entries began at 12…typical indian work ethics. I was hoping
to busy some cool tees and props, but all the good stuff was beyond my budget
for the day, thus I came back near empty handed. I also had to leave early to
reach my French class, and since it started late, I barely got much time to see
the stuff the best stuff which started later in the day. But still, had fun at
    comic con.

The following day, I had plans and passes to attend the 12th
Indian Auto Expo Motor Show, which I attended with my father. I carried my
camera with me of course, to take some pictures of the new cars to feast my
eyes on. I saw nearly all the displays, in every hall, cars, trucks, two
wheelers, goods carriers, name it, I saw it. Unfortunately, the two sections I
looked forward to most, BMW and Audi,  were extremely crowded by the time I got
there, and thus couldn’t get the best look at their cool new cars. I did
however get to drive in the Nissan GT PS3 Academy Simulator. After waiting in
line for almost an hour, I finally got my chance to set the best lap time I
could in 10 mins of game time. Unfortunately, I was humiliated by how horrible
I was at it, shattering any and all confidence
I had in my ability to drive. As I walked away, head hung in shame, I
contemplated on retiring from ever driving again unless absolutely necessary.
However, after a few hours, I refrained on making such decisions, and decided
to let time decide on it(but I haven’t driven in a long time, and I now
hesitate from getting behind the wheel). I did manage to get some good pictures
of the other stalls I liked, and came home a shattered yet happy man, a day
    well spent.

As my eyes flickered open on Sunday morning, I glanced over
at the clock, to realize I was waking up at noon. Huh…well that’s what
Sundays are for right? And with that, it set the tone for my day. I kept all my
work aside and just lazed the whole day.

That, was a well spent, eventful, emotionally turbulent,
    awesome weekend.
